I don't review many things but today I was mad enough to leave this review. I paid $10 for a wash that cost them .25 and couldn't even get an I'm sorry. Never again
A good place to get the salt spray off your car after visiting the seashore. The equipment is often broken, and there is no attendant, so you are sort of rolling the dice when you start feeding quarters in. They have vacuums and an air station for topping up your tires before hitting the the highway. There's another very similar place in the town of Chincoteague itself.
Stopped in there today to freshen up my truck for the holiday weekend. I chose to go the automatic route to take advantage of the dryer. There are 4 options from $7 to $10. I chose the most expensive $10 wash, so I could have all the bells and whistles. Well to my surprise during my wash I never seen the Tri Colored foam. That stage of the wash just spit what appeared to be water all over the truck. I was a bit disappointed, I seen the owners wife Colleen sweeping trash up in the parking lot so I thought id let her know. " Hey ma'am I just had the $10 wash and want to let you know the Tri colored foam must be empty, It didn't come out"
Her response was " That's not important, it's just a bunch of pretty colors and has no real purpose. the important stuff is the presoak and the other functions. Believe me the Tri colored soap is pointless". She was sure to let me know she would say something to Charlie. I again said well I paid for a $10 wash and didn't get the foam. She again said i'll let charlie know and continued on picking up trash.
